NORWICH – Popular local country act The Beadle Brothers have signed an artist development deal with Alabama-based Lure Records that siblings and bandleaders Matt and Bruce Beadle hope will put them on the national charts in the coming months.
The title track of the brothers’ debut album – “To the Moon and Back” – will be released both nationally and internationally in the near future, and both said it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to break into the big time.
To the Moon and Back – recorded over the course of a week in Nashville, Tennessee in January of 2010 – was released in August of that year. The album of all-original material was recorded and produced by All Mixed Up studio owner Greg Perkins, who also contributed to the songwriting process, adding his fiddle and pedal steel chops to the mix.
Lure Records’ Todd Washburn called The Beadle Brothers “some of the most promising new talent to enter the country music scene in a long, long time.”
