OXFORD – The Oxford Garden Club (OGC) brought 2011 to a close with their annual visit to the historic Bida Adult Home, the resident care facility at 4 Washington Park. It is characteristic of the Club to give selflessly and enjoy being social, as they do throughout the year, and this was no exception. The Garden Club spread joy, brought their enthusiasm and more.
Now in their thirteenth year of visiting the Bida Home, the OGC members request names of the residents along with their wish list. When the Club members visit, they come with platters of delicious cookies, and of course, arm-loads of beautifully wrapped presents.
Barbara Zeller commented, “So often the focus is on children at this time of year, but the adults need to be remembered too.”
