NORWICH – High school art students from across the county will have a moment to shine tonight when the Chenango County Council of the Arts hosts the annual Artistic Discovery event from 5 to 7 p.m. inside the gallery of the Council of the Arts building, 27 W. Main St.

Artistic Discovery is an art competition and an opportunity for high school students to show off their work to the public. Each work is judged and the top six contenders will have an opportunity to move on to another art show in Utica, where their work will again be judged against the top high school artists from other schools in the 24th Congressional District.
