NORWICH – Clarence “Rapp” Rappleyea has agreed to serve as Honorary Chairman of Joseph McBride’s campaign for county judge.
“I have known Joe twenty years and have had the pleasure of witnessing his commitment to his profession and his community,” Rappleyea said in a press release issued by The Friends of Joe McBride for Chenango County Court Judge. “Joe’s extensive legal experience in the County Court, Family Court and Surrogate’s Court and longtime dedication to public service make him the most qualified candidate for the job. I have had the privilege of knowing our current County Court Judge, the Hon. W. Howard Sullivan, and his predecessors the Hon. Kevin M. Dowd and the Hon. Irad S. Ingraham. Each of these judges discharged their duties with fairness, integrity, and diligence. Joe possesses these same characteristics and I am confident that he will continue the tradition of excellence established by these jurists.”
