OXFORD – Tuesday, June 12 at 7 p.m., the Oxford Historical Society (OHS) is presenting “East Side, East Side” in the Community Room of the Oxford Memorial Library. Due to the current Main Street Bridge construction, the redirection of traffic to the east side of the Village has drawn the OHS’ attention to an area that might be overlooked today. After a short business meeting, OHS guest speakers will accurately detail the ‘less notable’ section of the east side, back when it was in its heyday. Employing vivid stories and images, this program will forever change the way you see it!
