NORWICH – In an effort to better serve and protect the citizens of Chenango County, Chenango County Sheriff Ernest R. Cutting and the New York State Sheriff’s Association are partnering to offer Yellow Dot, a free program that provides vital medical information to first responders.

A joint effort of the state’s Sheriff’s Association and more than 30 county sheriffs, the program will launch this week, designed to help first responders provide life-saving medical attention during the first “golden hour” after a crash or other emergency.
