PLYMOUTH – Two individuals involved in what authorities believe was a deer versus motorcycle accident Tuesday night remain hospitalized, one in serious condition, as an investigation into the crash continues.

Emergency personnel received the 911 call at approximately 8:18 p.m., responding to 261 County Road 44, near the Canasawacta Country Club pavilion. The driver, who sustained “serious injuries,” according to Norwich Fire Department Chief Tracy Chawgo, was transported to Sherburne before being airlifted to Upstate Medical in Syracuse. A female passenger was transported via Norwich Ambulance to Chenango Memorial Hospital.
