NORWICH – With much of the fair gone by already, there’s still plenty to do and see at the fairgrounds as the 165th Chenango County Fair continues to dazzle thousands throughout the weekend.
Things get underway Friday afternoon when the fair celebrates 4-H and all things agriculture in Chenango County. At 7 p.m., the Sundown Band takes center stage at the entertainment tent while at the same time, it’s all about horses at the grandstand when Equine Extravaganza gallops onto the pulling tack and the infield. The night ends with a bang as Midnight Madness takes over the midway. From 9-11 p.m., riders can purchase wristbands for $20, allowing full access to all rides until the early hours of the morning. Wrist bands will be good until things wind down at 1 a.m.
