Editor,
I have known Frank Revoir for 30 years and have had the opportunity to watch him mature as he progressed from Norwich High School student, to college and law school graduate (Cum Laude), and on into adulthood with all the attending responsibilities that family, community and a profession bring. In wading through all that has been written and stated about each of the candidates throughout this campaign, I have found it instructive to review how Frank has dealt with those responsibilities, noted above, as they might apply to the position of County Court Judge.
Regarding his family, Frank and his wife Edi make their home in the City of Norwich next door to his law office. Frank has consistently shown a deep commitment to his family through all the ups and downs every family experiences. There is no better testimony for any parent than the demonstrated feelings of love, admiration and loyalty that Frank’s children have provided to him. When Frank’s large and extended family (aunts, uncles, cousins) gathers, it is a joyous occasion and a celebration on all levels with music, food and laughter. All people both inside and outside the family are welcome, invited and included. It is from this upbringing and continued tradition that Frank comes by his acceptance of all people, regardless of their lot in life. Acceptance, however, does not mean a lack of accountability. He clearly defines what is unacceptable and holds family and friends alike responsible for their behavior.
