The term “People’s Candidate,” or “The People’s Choice” is always heard during election campaigns. Traveling around Chenango County and seeing so many signs supporting Frank Revoir, it would seem he is the People’s Choice. Mr. McBride, although qualified, brings something to the election that a judgeship should not have – political baggage. Mr. McBride has been endorsed by the leaders of the Republican Party, the Chenango County Sheriff, the undersheriff, the Greene Police, and many more law enforcement agencies. With political baggage, that being all of these endorsements, could come the terrible look of partisanship in the judge’s office. Mr. Revoir does not have the weight of political baggage dragging with him wherever he goes. Chenango County could do no better than electing Frank Revoir as judge. Certainly the People’s Choice.
