Editor,
On Thursday, Sept. 13, the Chenango County Republicans, Conservatives and Independence Party members had the opportunity to cast their vote in the long awaited primary election. The polls opened at noon; closed at 9 p.m.; and by 9:30 p.m. we began receiving the “unofficial“ vote count. Over the next week, we all awaited the final tally of the absentee ballots. The Chenango County Board of Elections has now certified the results in this tight race. I have been nominated as the candidate to represent the Republican, Conservative, and Independence Parties in the general election for County Court Judge on Nov. 6. It is with great honor and humility that I accept this nomination.
