DELHI – Bainbridge-Guilford rallied from a 12-point halftime deficit to defeat Delhi in the finals of the Bulldogs’ tournament Saturday evening.
All-tournament selection Brooks Harmon scored 16 points to lead three B-G players in double figures scoring. Corbin Palmer netted 13, and Lucas Butcher 10. Over the final two periods, the Bobcats allowed just 12 points to win going away. “We didn’t play very good defense in the first half, but we tweaked some things at halftime and played much better,” said B-G coach Greg Warren. “Austin (Bauerle) was a big presence on the boards, and we really did a much better job limiting and contesting their shot opportunities.”
Bauerle was also named the tournament MVP.
