WINDSOR – In his first tournament wrestling at 132 pounds this season, Tristan Rifanburg made a big statement rolling to his second straight Windsor Tournament title Friday night.

Facing fellow unbeaten Jesse Griswold of B-G/Afton in the finals, Rifanburg secured a takedown, one set of back points on a tilt, then arm-barring Griswold for the pin at 1:53. "Tristan looked great against a quality opponent," said Norwich coach Joe Downey. "We thought Griswold would be defensive and try to tie us up, but he came right at us. It worked to our advantage. This is a very good weight for Tristan, and he's a year older and wiser."

Also placing for Norwich were Ty Rifanburg (fourth, 99 pounds), and Cole Rifanburg (fifth, 106 pounds).

Greene won a pair of individual titles and placed second in the team scoring behind Huntington. Mike Beckwith remained unbeaten with a 4-0 shutout of Unatego's Leland Slawson at 160; and Christian Dietrich was dominant at 170 pounds tech-falling top seed Ryan Marzal of Unatego, 16-0.
