SHERBURNE – Winter has arrived and it’s time to enjoy the season during the 35th annual Winter Living Celebration at Rogers Center on Saturday, Jan. 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center invite you to enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities during the course of the day.
Try out snowshoeing or cross country skiing, go for a horse-drawn sleigh ride, build an animal snow sculpture, and enjoy outdoor demonstrations including winter camping, DEC forest ranger rescue equipment, sled dogs and more. Then warm up inside with live music and entertainment as well as children’s crafts, fly-tying and exhibits including the Bullthistle Hiking Club, the Chenango Bird Club and Wolf Mountain Nature Center.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments including hot food and drinks will be available to purchase.
