DVD Patrol

There is always time for a great road trip, Patrollers! Even the Toddster has to take a break now and then. In that case, the Toddster has been checking out some new movies in the theater in two different places that we’ll reveal later. Here’s what we saw on the trip.

New on DVD

Argo - Has anyone wanted to film a bad movie on purpose? Based on a true story, during the early 1980s, Americans were taken hostage in Iran and were held for a long time. Six of them escaped and were hidden away. They were searched for and had only a limited amount of time before they were found. CIA Agent Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck) had to figure out a way to do that and he had a reputation for getting the job done. He decided to pretend to put a Hollywood production together and made it seem that Iran had the perfect places to do it. Now Mendez has to find the right people and convince his superiors that this will work. Will he pull it off and get everybody out before it’s too late? Affleck has been on a roll lately winning all kinds of awards for his project. Take a look on Sunday if this movie takes away the Best Picture Oscar starting at 8 p.m. on ABC.
