SHERBURNE – Following a month-long investigation into the alleged sale of marijuana from a Sherburne residence, the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, assisted by the Village of Sherburne Police Department, executed a “no knock” search warrant yesterday at 476 Pleasant Valley Road.
Narcotics detectives arrested Robert R. Reynolds, 52, of 476 Pleasant Valley Road, charging him with criminal possession marijuana in the first degree, a class C felony. A search of Reynolds home revealed several items of concern, including approximately 100 pounds of high-grade, processed marijuana. In addition, the Sheriff's Office seized more than $36,000 in cash and an estimated $17,000 in personal property, such as scales and other drug paraphernalia. A conservative estimate of the drugs' street value is thought to be more than $100,000.
