SHERBURNE – The public is invited to attend the 5th annual Sherburne-Earlville Wall of Fame Induction Ceremony, to be held at 7 p.m. tonight in the Barbara Rabig Gallery, located near the high school and middle school auditorium. The ceremony will include a reception honoring the inductees followed by refreshments and the mounting of each individual’s plaque.
Inductees to the S-E Wall of Fame include graduates and former staff members who have gone on to make significant contributions to humanity, improve the quality of life, or achieve noteworthy recognition in their career or education. This year's inductees include four individuals: two graduates and two former staff members.
They are:
• Robert Benedict, a former S-E teacher and guidance counselor. According to a recent press release, Benedict had been a beloved teacher and counselor at S-E, helping innumerable students through their years at S-E and preparing them for life beyond the halls of high school. Since retiring, Benedict has donated his free time, functioning as an assistant in the S-E attendance office.
