Fall is almost upon us again, Patrollers! That means not only are there new Fall TV shows coming, there are also the ones we enjoyed last season coming back as well. That being said, the Toddster thought he would share with you some of his favorites that will be on. Maybe you would like some of them too.
Arrow - This one was my Number #1 favorite. Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was a rich playboy who did what he wanted and didn't care who he hurt in the process. He went on a trip with his father and girlfriend. An explosion sank his father's boat killing his girl that left him and his father as the only survivors. His father sacrificed himself so that Oliver could live. His raft made it to an island where he had to do everything he could to survive. Five years later, Oliver is rescued and comes back a changed man with skills he had to learn to survive. Along the way, he learned that his father and others who helped run the city had hurt a lot of people and left the city where the elite did whatever they wished to do. Oliver also found a list of the people who did the things he learned about. Now using his skills, he decides to go after them as a vigilante and fight whomever wants to hurt his city. At the end of the season, Oliver has fought his way through and comes up against the people who want to destroy the city. Can Oliver turn the tide? Arrow returns on Wednesday October 9 at 8 p.m. on the CW Network.
Person of Interest - No one said being a hero was ever easy. In Season 2, John Reese (Jim Caviezel) returns with his partner Harold Finch (Micheal Emerson) using the machine that generates persons of interest that may be in trouble or may cause trouble. The two do whatever they have to do to fight crime but during the season some new people and enemies come up such as the mysterious Root (Amy Acker) who wants to find the machine and a corrupt crime commission who have become aware of John's activities. Toward the end of the season, Root returns to aid Harold because some Computer Technicians have invented a virus that has started to make the Machine malfunction; that makes it become self aware. Arrangements were made so that no one knows where it is. Now, John and Harold aren't sure what the machine will do next? Season 3 returns on a new day and time on Tuesday, September 24 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
The Vampire Dairies - Life can be pretty tough sometimes, especially if you're a vampire. Elena (Nina Dobrev) has just become a vampire and has had some tough times trying to get used to it even with the aid of the Salvatore Brothers, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder). Also, a mysterious professor arrives in Mystic Falls that wreaks havoc causing many deaths and goes looking for a mysterious vampire that somehow may hold the secret to bring back the dead. Elena, Damon, and Stefan do whatever they can to stop this. Almost at the end of the season, the mysterious vampire that everyone is looking for can jump from body to body and has taken over Stefan's body. Are Elena and Stefan going to be able to help before it's too late? Season 4 comes back on Thursday, October 3 at 8 p.m. on the CW Network.
Beauty and the Beast - You never what you'll find until it finds you. Cat Chandler (Kristin Kreuk) had a great life and she knew her mother was a doctor who worked on a lot of different projects. One of them might have caused her and her mother to be ambushed one night resulting in the death of her mother but she was saved by a mysterious stranger named Vincent (Jay Ryan). She never knew who he was. A few years go by and Cat moves to New York City to become a NYC detective. Cat is one of the best cops around but she has always been haunted by the death of her mom and the stranger that saved her. One of the cases she's working on brings her into contact with Vincent. The people that her mother worked with think she is getting too close to something that they're working on. Will Cat learn what's going on and find out more about Vincent? Season 2 is back on a new night airing Monda,y October 7 at 8 p.m. on the CW Network.
All of these past seasons will of these shows will be on DVD being released sometime in September. As soon as we get some release dates, they will be featured right here in the Patrol. More DVDS coming next week. The Toddster shall return.
