Authorities release information of Sherburne MVA

SHERBURNE – Officials have released the name and information of the driver involved in a fatal one-car motor vehicle accident in the Town of Sherburne shortly after noon on Wednesday. Authorities say 42-year-old Lynne E. Frisbie of Sherburne was headed north on State Highway 12B when she lost control of her Ford SUV and overcorrected.

According to New York State Police Troop C Officer Nathan Riegal, the vehicle overturned several times before settling on its side in a ditch on the east shoulder of the road. Frisbie was airlifted via Mercy Flight to St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Utica where she succumbed to serious head injuries sustained in the accident.
