Brookfield 3, Otselic Valley 0
SOUTH OTSELIC – Brookfield scored all three of its goals after halftime in recording its second shutout victory over Otselic Valley this season.
Kevin Abrams scored on a free kick just two minutes into the second half, and Jake Cowen scored the next two for the Beavers, the latter on a penalty kick. "It was a tale of two halves," said OV coach Jacob Preston. "We had two or three good scoring opportunities in the first half, and we did not capitalize. After their first goal, it deflated us and we could not get it going after that."
