COLUMBUS – According to Town of Columbus Supervisor Thomas Grace, Columbus, NY is the nation’s oldest “Columbus.”
The community will gather Saturday, Oct. 12 at Norton Park for a day-long celebration.
Food booths will open at 9 a.m. Grace added there will be donuts and coffee, and a crew will be on hand to make sandwiches on the grill at the main pavilion. Sandwiches will be ready to be served by 10 a.m.
Tractor pull sign-ups begin at 9 a.m. and will begin one hour after registration. Those interested in the tractor pull are asked to contact Pat Johnson at 847-9766.
A dime social is set to run from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. and local crafters will have booths set up.
“There will be beautiful handmade wares fashioned by local artisans,” said Grace.
