NORWICH – 15-year-old Kaitlyn Jackson auditioned for the national singing competition American Idol in Boston and has earned herself the ‘golden ticket’ to Hollywood. She recently performed the National Anthem at the Norwich basketball game on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014.

Jackson has performed in front of thousands in the past, and her nationally televised prime time show garnered her attention from new fans all over the country.

Jackson’s fan page on Facebook has reached nearly 5,000 “likes,” and has seen a significant increase since her debut on American Idol.

To see how the journey with Idol pans out, interested individuals can tune in to the episode airing Feb 5, when ‘Hollywood Week” begins on the show after the close of the audition process.
