Are we Warming Up Yet, Patrollers?! The DVD Patrol finally received some Weather news this week that it's supposed to start warning up. We'll see. Anyway, the Toddster has been hard at work finding movies that may warm you up. Super Bowl Weekend. Go Broncos!

New on DVD

Last Vegas- Often times you find that it's never too late in life to do the things you want to do. Billy (Micheal Douglas) was always the bachelor of the group and swore he would never get married. Times change. He proposes to his much younger girlfriend and they decide to get hitched in Las Vegas. Billy decides to invite his old pals Archie (Morgan Freeman), Paddy (Robert Deniro), and Sam (Kevin Kline) for a Bachelor Party. They find that the years have taken their toll on them a bit but they decide they won't let a little thing like time slow them down. What will happen to this group of friends next? Douglas is about to play something he has never been before- a super hero. He has been cast along with Paul Rudd to play "Ant Man" set for release in theaters next year.

Rush (2013) - Sports can be pretty tough when you have someone as good as you. Based on a true story. Director Ron Howard brings the story of James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and Niki Lauda (Daniel Bruhl) to the big screen. Hunt and Lauda were two of the greatest Formula One racers that the World has ever seen. Their rivalry didn't stop on the track. They took into their personal lives as well. Things were about to change when the two had a really bad crash and it looked as if Lauda was not going to be able to race ever again. Hunt wasn't sure what how he going to handle it. Would Lauda and Hunt find a way to bury their rivalry to make it back on the track? Hemsworth has a number of projects in the works including sequels to "Snow White and the Huntsman" and an "Avengers" sequel to begin filming sometime in March. Stay tuned!

Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 - Cartoon Spotlight returns with the adventures of Flint Lockwood. Flint was a hard working scientist who always bad luck until he invented a machine that made food have a mind of their own. He was able to get that under control and has been working for a new company. Now he comes to find out that someone has made his machine operational again. Now Flint, along with his friends, have to find out who and why this is happening again. Can he stop it again? If there's anyone out there who likes to play with legos, gear up because "The Lego Movie" is coming to theaters on February 7.

Blade: The Series - Taking a movie and turning it into a TV show is never an easy thing to do. With this one, they did a great job. From the makers of the "Blade" Trilogy, a new adventure for Blade (Kirk "Sticky" Jones) begins. Krista Starr (Jill Wagner) returned from Iraq to find a new life and get back in touch with her family. This is all about to change when her brother is killed and she is introduced to the World of Vampires. Krista starts looking into things she shouldn't be which brings her into contact with Blade and puts her on the House of Cthon's radar. They get a hold of her and turn her into a Vampire. Now she is torn by her new form and finding out what happened to her brother. Can Blade help her figure out a way to use this to her advantage? David Goyer, who brought Blade to the Big Screen and Television, worked on the Dark Knight trilogy and "Man Of Steel." Now he's hard at work on the next Superman sequel with Batman added to the mix but has been slated for a 2016 release.

Can't wait to see what movie trailers they have slated for the Super Bowl. The commercials are pretty good too. I'm currently working on the Blade series which I haven't seen in a long time. Some Specials are coming so stay tuned for that. The Toddster will be back.
