Sherburne-Earlville baseball is set to take on Section III this season. The varsity baseball team and head coach Brian Hicks lost six seniors from last year, three of those were starting pitchers.
"We're going to struggle with pitching. We're going to have to score a lot of runs. We're going to have to score six, seven or eight runs a game," said Hicks. However, with senior Nate Piazzi and junior Brady Elderkin on the hill this year, S-E has the potential to win.
Piazzi went 5-1 last season with an ERA under two.
