SHERBURNE – Kids at Sherburne-Earlville Elementary School participated in a yearly event on Wednesday that encouraged them to get fit, stay active, and live a healthy lifestyle.
For the 22nd year, the All Children Exercise Simultaneously (ACES) program took to the grounds of the Sherburne-Earlville Elementary School, drawing every student in kindergarten through grade five outdoors for a series of fitness activities that proves exercise can be engaging and fun.
“We do this every year to promote health and fitness and encourage kids to be more active,” explained S-E physical education teacher Mary Thomas. “It’s something that the kids really get excited about. Kids should be active every day and it’s a matter of health.”
