Hey Patrollers! The DVD Patrol is here to tell you that we're one week from letting you on how the summer has been going so far movie-wise from the theater. The Toddster would be remiss in telling you that we've found some more DVDs before we take a week hiatus and do what's coming next week but more on that later.

I.Frankenstein - Sometimes when you're a hero, it can take time to find out you are one. Based on the best selling graphic novel, sometime in the not too distant future we meet a woman named Terra (Yvonne Strahoski). She bears witness to two supernatural creatures getting ready to fight with her trapped in the middle. Not before meeting a strange creature (Aaron Eckhart) who saves her. She later learns that the creature is actually Frankenstein's monster. He just wants to be left alone but now Terra has to find a way to convince him that he has to find a way to save humanity from these two warring factions. Can she do it? Strahoski can be currently be seen on "24:Live Another Day" pursuing Jack Bauer in a limited summer event airing on Mondays on FOX at 9 p.m.

That Awkward Moment - When is the right moment to find out just what you want to know? Jason (Zac Efron), Daniel (Miles Teller), and Mikey (Micheal B Jordan) have always found relationships to be strange. Especially for Jason. Him and his friends have never been really that sure of how things are really going. Or the fact of where things are going. Jason just wants to make sure the relationship is right for him but how does he tell his special someone this. What will happen next? You find a new neighbor to sometimes be a challenge. Efron takes on Seth Rogen in "Neighbors" in theaters now.

Blazing Saddles (40th Anniversary Edition) - One of the oldest and most beloved comedies ever from Mel Brooks (at least for the Toddster). No one said being sheriff was easy. Bart (Cleavon Little) was the last person you would ever expect to be appointed to such a job but a corrupt official (Harvey Korman) thinks he won't last long. This way he'll be able to swoop in and take over the land for the railroad. He might not find it that easy after Bart takes to the job and wins the hearts of the townspeople. Can he help them keep their land? Another great comedy from Mel Brooks is "Young Frankenstein" on shelves now.

New on Blu Ray

Revenge of the Nerds - If you like Underdog movies, this one is just for you. Lewis (Robert Carradine) and Gilbert (Anthony Edwards) were getting ready to brave the New World by heading off to college and see life had to offer them. At Adams College, it just might offer them a but more than they bargained for. It seems that Stan Gable (Ted Mcginley) and Alpha Beta football team don't think much of them or their friends. Now they'll have to find a way to beat them at their own game by proving they have what it takes. Adams College is holding a series of games to determine who will lead the Greek council that says what happens at the college. Will the guys be able to prove to everyone that Nerds have what it takes to win? Another great comedy finding its way to Blu Ray is "Bachelor Party" starring Tom Hanks, with Hanks having one last blowout with his friends before married life takes over. Bachelor Party is in stores now.
