Linda Kays Biviano wins Alvogen's Got Talent 2014

NORWICH – Linda Kays Biviano, a training coordinator and manufacturing technician at the Norwich Pharma Services US manufacturing plant (Norwich), is the winner of this year's Alvogen's Got Talent competition. Her prize is a travel check for $3,000. Two other awards were given, worth $1,500.

This is the third year of the competition, in which Alvogen employees were invited to submit short videos showcasing their talents in numerous fields. This year 15 participants applied, but equally as impressive were over 1,200 votes from Alvogen employees around the world who voted for their favorite entries.

Linda's talent is making dolls, where she has developed a unique process for creating artwork for many years of trial and error. She now has demand for her work internationally. Linda joined Norwich – An Alvogen Company, in 2003.

Linda's winning prize is a sponsored vacation of her choice, worth $3,000. Inside News will follow Linda‘s plans and share her travel story.

Two other awards were given to two other participants. The criteria for these additional awards was mainly based on creativity, passion for their talent and fun. Jonina Tryggvadottir, an office assistant in Iceland was awarded for her latte art. Jonina is a former coffee barista and has won numerous titles in competitions in Iceland and abroad in her field. Vitalii Slobodian is a finance manager in Ukraine, he is awarded for his lively playing of the Ukraine national anthem simultaneously on a harmonica and guitar. They will be awarded with a travel check of $750 each.

Organizers extend congratulations to Linda, Jonina and Vitalii and to all the entrants for this year's Alvogen's Got Talent competition.
