NORWICH – The Norwich Family YMCA is setting the stage for a fundraiser to get kids and adults moving.
The first-ever YMCA “Zumba-thon” will be held starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the facility located on Mechanic Street in Norwich. The event includes a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle and of course, plenty of Zumba that combines Latin and international music with dance moves.
While doors open early, Zumba will start at 10 a.m.
Proceeds raised during the event will benefit the Y's “Send a Kid to Camp” scholarship.
