ENDICOTT – Norwich sophomore Ryan Johnson fired a 3-over-par 75 at En Joie Golf Club to tie for fifth out of 96 competitors at the Nick DiNunzio Memorial Golf Tournament Monday afternoon.

The early-season tournament features all 16 Southern Tier Athletic Conference golf teams, and is an early litmus test for most players and squads. Norwich was 12th out of 16 teams, although third through tenth place was separated by just 13 strokes.

Johnson had four birdies in his round, and shot a 1-under-par 35 on En Joie’s back nine.
