NORWICH – After many months of of hard work and preparations, the Chenango Valley Home on the west side of Norwich celebrated the completion of their recent addition and renovation at an afternoon open house held Sunday, September 21.

Residents, their families, neighbors and guests enjoyed refreshments and the opportunity to see the results of an eight month construction project which resulted in additional inviting living space and a comfortable, spacious dining facility with a state-of-the-art kitchen.

Bill Beckwith, Executive Director of Chenango Valley Home and Apartments, described the improvements as the logical next step in the development of the facility. “We are fortunate to have an engaged board of directors that is attentive to the needs of our residents and our community. They understood that we had reached our capacity for satisfying the needs and wants of our residents in our previous floor plan. In addition, our community’s need for the type of independent apartment living and residential living that our organization provides has grown. This project has enabled us to satisfy those needs for now and into the future.”
