BAINBRIDGE — A 26-year-old man was shot to death and another man is being treated following a shooting in Bainbridge that police believe stemmed from an incident of road rage.
According to New York State Police Troop C Commander James Barnes, police responded to a shooting that took place in the parking lot of 2907 State Route 7 in the Town of Bainbridge — the parking lot of Peak Fitness.
Police responded to the location at approximately 1:27 p.m. Monday.
Derek D. Prindle, 26, was transported to the Tri Town Hospital in Sidney where he died from his injuries.
60-year-old Derek. S. Prindle of Afton is currently being treated for a gunshot wound at Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City.
