NEW BERLIN— The Village of New Berlin is gearing up for the holiday season with its “Christmas in New Berlin” event this weekend.
“Christmas in New Berlin” festivities begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Masonic Lodge located on state Highway 8 in New Berlin.
The Masonic Lodge will be ornately decorated indoors for all attendees to get in the spirit of the season. The Arts and Crafts Bazaar with several local vendors will be set up in the lodge from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Village of New Berlin Board Trustee Amy Hoxie said it is a nice way for people to do their holiday shopping locally and get in the spirit with the rest of the community.
Those interested in purchasing arts, crafts and homemade goods from local vendors also have the option to get their gifts wrapped to give as presents for Christmas. The Christmas wrapping booth will be set up from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the Arts and Crafts Bazaar.
“I think a lot of credit goes to Linda Foote for all the work she put into the event and how she got the vendors together for the Arts and Crafts Bazaar. We had several people that did a lot to help, but she has done a tremendous amount of work, which I am grateful for,” said Hoxie.
