Laurens 29, Oxford 17
OXFORD – Laurens held Oxford to just two baskets in the second half to pull away for the non-league victory Monday night.
Taylor Kessler scored 13 points for the Leopards, and was the only player on either side that scored in double figures.
“We’ve struggled all season putting the ball in the basket,” said Oxford coach Chris Palmer. “Laurens is a much bigger team and outrebounded us, but I thought our effort defensively and getting after loose balls was good. We just have trouble scoring consistently, or at all.”
Oxford plays at Unatego today.
