Unadilla Valley 51, Oxford 39
NEW BERLIN – Unadilla Valley reached double-digit wins and extended its winning streak to four games Tuesday beating Oxford.
UV (10-4) topped Oxford for the second time this season, and this time around was much more closely contended. “They put a lot of pressure on us defensively, and I thought (Oxford) played well,” said UV coach Matt Osborne.
A strong third quarter allowed the Storm to extend their halftime lead to 15 points. Guard Dylan Thomsen’s penetration into the lane afforded UV good shot opportunities.
Ethan Grey scored 19 points for the Storm in the victory.
Kevin Davis had 16 points to top the Blackhawks.
