OXFORD – “For the first time in forever,” the Pumpkin Shell Nursery School, in Oxford N.Y., will host a showing of Disney's “Frozen” along with a meet and greet of the characters at the Oxford High School auditorium this Saturday.
The event will happen on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 1 p.m. At the Oxford Academy and Central School High School auditorium. The doors open at 12:30 p.m. The cost of the event is $5 per person, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. There are no pre-sale tickets available, attendees must pay at the door.
Part way through the film there will be a brief intermission break when attendees can enjoy refreshments and meet some of the “Frozen” characters. Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf will be present at the event. The characters will be played by local volunteers.
Marilyn Oliver, Teacher and Director at Pumpkin Shell Nursery School, said that the meet and greet will be happening throughout the film. “There may even be a surprise performance,” said Oliver.
As this is a first time for the event, coordinators do not know what kind of turn out to expect. Entrance will be given on a first come, first serve basis, so it is recommended that folks show up early. “We are all very excited about it,” said Oliver. “It's going to be a big turnout.”
