NORWICH – Rising country star and former American Idol Contestant Kaitlyn Jackson has released her new self-titled country album.
The album was available Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, on iTunes, Amazon and other online retailers. This album is highly anticipated by fans nationwide who witnessed the 16-year-old make it to the final Hollywood solo rounds during season 13 of American Idol in 2014.
This project, produced by Grammy-nominated Kent Wells, features 8 tracks all co-written by Jackson. Complete with upbeat songs about having fun with your girlfriends (“Break It Down”), staying true to yourself in the midst of love gone wrong (“I’d Rather Be Me”), and thanking God for his blessings no matter the size (“All The Little Things”), Kaitlyn’s album evokes the very best of her influences, which include Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Jo Dee Messina.
