Hello, All you Happy Patrollers! The DVD Patrol is back in action after our tribute on Leonard Nimoy last time. Hope enjoyed that. This time out we brought in a couple of new ones along with a couple of TV shows that the Toddster has enjoyed past and present. Let's get busy!

New on DVD

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay (Part 1)- It's always tough fighting for what's right even when society doesn't want it changed. Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) returned to the Hunger Games but when she won she destroyed them forever. Now her friend Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) has been taken and her home has been destroyed. Now in this installment Katniss comes back to her home in District 13. She's not sure what to do but after taking advice from her trusted friends, she knows what she must do. Fight for her nation and to save her friend Peeta. Can she win an impossible fight? Part 2 will be coming in November. Lawrence will also team up with Bradley Cooper for another project titled "Serena" coming soon to theaters.

Night At the Museum 3- Secret of the Tomb- It would be quite a thing to meet historical figures from history. About the closest you can to that is to visit a museum. For Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), it's become a lot more than that. He's managed to get a job working at night and something magical happens. All the figures in the museum come to life. Larry has had some adventures working at this job but now something bad has started to happen. The magic that brings them all to life is starting to disappear. So Now Larry has to find out the secret of a tomb where the magic. Larry journeys to England along with a lot of the museum figures. Can Larry find out what is happening before it's too late? Stiller has a number of projects now in the works including sequels for "Zoolander" and "Dodgeball" coming to theaters. Check back with us on release dates.

Chips (Season 3)- This show was always fun to watch every week. We join Jon Baker (Larry Wilcox) and Frank "Ponch" Poncharello (Eric Estrada) as they traveled down the highways and byways of Los Angeles chasing bad guys who would try to break the law. In the 2 part season opener, Jon and Ponch are working on organizing a charity event but at the same time they get interrupted when two thieves on roller skates have been making robberies and have managed to evade the police. Can our heroes find a way to catch them? Seasons 1 and 2 are now available on store shelves with Season 4 in the works.

Transporter: The Series-(Season 1)- We all have rules and this man is not accustomed to having them broken. They sure get bent a lot though. Frank Martin (Chris Vance) will transport anything and anyone for a price. He never changes the deal and has a strong sense of justice. In the pilot, Frank is asked by a friend to transport an engine prototype. There are those who don't want the device delivered. Frank soon learns he's been tracked by an assassin. It becomes a race against time to stop the killer and to deliver the package. Will Frank pull it off? Season 2 is coming soon to DVD with Season 3 to still be approved. Stay Tuned.
