AFTON – The Afton Community Theater (ACT) presents Neil Simon’s, “Barefoot in the Park,” on the stage of Afton Central School's auditorium on April 10, 11, and 12.
This quick and quirky romantic comedy follows a newlywed couple as they move into their first apartment together, and the amusing yet touchingly relatable joys and tribulations that come with the beginning of their lives together.
ACT’s production of Barefoot has been overseen by Afton’s own seasoned director – Rich Cuthbertson. Cuthbertson has overseen other directorial works in the area, including “Steel Magnolias,” “Jekyll & Hyde the Musical,” along with countless other productions with ACT, Out of the Woodwork Players, and the Tri-Town Theatre. Cuthbertson is supported by co-director Michael Graziano – making his directorial debut with this staging. Graziano has an extensive theatrical background. He has appeared in several shows with Hartwick College, and recently returned to the stage to star in ACT’s production of “Rent.”
