ONEONTA – On the strength of Zan Stewart and Colin Stewart's third straight doubles championship, combined with a pair of third-place finishes, Norwich captured its fifth straight Section IV Class B championship Friday at Oneonta High School.

Seniors Brendon Budd and Alec Weaver cruised to victory in their third-place finish, and senior Matt Craig added his third third-place finish in singles in what was the tournament's final match of the day.

"It definitely is impressive (winning five straight titles)," said Norwich head coach, John Stewart. "We controlled our own destiny over the two days; you can't control the draw and how things are picked out of the hat, but once you start playing, winning takes care of everything."
