SHERBURNE – Teamwork was the name of the game as six area fire companies worked shoulder-to-shoulder in knocking down a two-story blaze on Pleasant Valley Road in the Town of Sherburne for nearly five hours, Wednesday.
Likewise, first responders had to contend with excessive wind gusts of up to 15 mph, temperatures that push 90 degrees and relative humidity that hovered around the 80 percent mark.
