NORWICH – This weekend, the members of the Perkins School of the Arts will be performing its annual show. Students of all ages will get a chance to showcase all the hard work they have done over the past year.
The students of the Perkins School of the Arts will get a chance to show the community all of their dedication to dancing this weekend when they perform in PSA’s 17th annual dance recital.
Mikey Perkins and his sister Amber, who own and run the school, have been preparing for the recital for the past few months. Between the two schools in Norwich and Endicott there will be performers of all ages who will participate in the show.
“This year’s show is called ‘Carpe Diem,’ which means seize the day,” said co-owner Mikey Perkins. “Keeping with the saying, we wanted to keep the show fun and light-hearted.”
Perkins added that the dancers will be doing more jovial – or light-hearted – dances than they have been doing in the past.
