NORWICH – On Wednesday, June 24, the Youth Philanthropy Council of Chenango County held its annual donation ceremony at the Norwich Jewish Center. This year, the Philanthropy Council is allocating more than $8,000 to four different organizations.

The Youth Philanthropy Council is an organization advised by the Chenango United Way working with juniors and seniors from high schools all over the county.

Over the past few months, these students have been planning and executing their funding strategies in order to give back to the community.
