NEW BERLIN – Phoenix Project Dance, a professional company based out of Norwich, partnered with the Sam and Adele Golden Foundation to put on a free event to the public this past Saturday evening.
“I was so inspired by the entire event. Seeing the dancers in open air was so freeing for both them as well as the audience,” said Phoenix Project Dance Executive Director Mikey Perkins.
After a full decade of being in business, Phoenix Project Dance wanted to show the public the transformation they are making as they begin their 11th year.
“It's called ‘Phases’ because it's our next phase of growth. We want to kick off our 11th year as a kind of transition, hence the name,” said Perkins.
The event was held outside at the Residency Barn in New Berlin. “Phases” was proceeded with an hour-long meet and greet session with refreshments for all.
