NORWICH – Tyler S. Dodge, 24, of Norwich appeared in Chenango County Court on Wednesday July 29, 2015.

Dodge was originally charged in Delaware County Court with grand larceny in the 3rd degree, a class D felony.

Dodge was released after his grandmother posted bail.

Dodge reappeared in Chenango County Court before Norwich City Judge, James E. Downey, after Dodge violated his probation. It is alleged that Dodge violated his probation due to a positive test for narcotics in his system.

Judge James E. Downey went on to exonerated the bail money Dodge was originally released on, due to there being no apparent reason to forfeit it.

“Justice Delayed, is justice denied,” said Downey.
