NORWICH – Brittany J. Skinkle, 20, of Florida was arrested on an active warrant issued by the State of Florida and appeared before Judge, Frank B. Revoir Jr. in Chenango County Court on Monday Sept. 21, 2015.

Skinkle appeared with the Chenango County Public Defender, John D. Cameron. District Attorney, Joseph A. McBride appeared on behalf of the people.

It was alleged that Skinkle had committed the crime of grand theft auto in the third degree, while in the state of Florida. After the crime was committed she fled the state.

It was agreed upon by all to strike ‘auto,’ thereby making her charge grand theft, due to the difference in state charges.
