OXFORD – The American Legion Auxiliary is gearing up to sponsor its third annual “Thank You Luncheon for Veterans.”

The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 at Fort Hill American Legion Post 376, 17 S. Washington Ave. in Oxford.

The luncheon and activities is a tribute to all local veterans. All Chenango armed forces veterans are invited to attend free of charge.

At the complementary luncheon, there will be a speaker and presentation of ‘thank you’ certificates. There will also be networking opportunities with other veterans and representatives of veteran organizations to share about their programs.
