PLYMOUTH – The spirit of Halloween will be on full display this weekend for those daring enough to be led into the dark woods of the Plymouth hills by complete strangers.
This Friday and Saturday night beginning at 7 p.m. - or whenever the trees of Rogers Haunted Hill cloak themselves with their night attire – hundreds of Chenango County's bravest souls will make their way through the narrow, twisting paths of the much anticipated attraction.
“There's something new to see every year, and this year we decided to take it into the woods to enhance the creepy atmosphere,” said Beverly Rogers, matriarch of the operation. When asked what folks could expect, Rogers simply replied, “You'll have to come see for yourself – if you dare.”
What started out as one family’s way of offering the children of Plymouth and surrounding Chenango County an affordable, safe and fun Halloween activity that could be enjoyed by the entire family has now become a Chenango County tradition.
