SHERBURNE – A long investigation into the sale of heroin in Sherburne led to the arrest of two people over the weekend.

Shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday, the Chenango Chenango Sheriff’s Office, with help from the City of Norwich and Village of Sherburne police departments, conducted a no-knock search warrant at 30 Classic St. in the Village of Sherburne.

According to police, the warrant was issued on belief that 50-year-old Frederick T. Harty Jr. was using the residence to sell illegal drugs.
