NORWICH - After play on Wednesday, October 14, in the Golden 20’s league at Family Recreation Lanes, the team of “LA” Ham has taken a commanding lead on the rest of the field.
“LA” Ham is now sitting on top of the leader board with 35 points, six points ahead of the next best team. M & M is in second place with 29 points and the teams of E & D and The Old Salts are tied for second with 26.
For the men, Don Lafever was the all around high bowler, throwing the high 600 game with a 608 and the high 200 game with a 225. Behind Lafever was Dick Ballard on both ends, bowling a 526 and 218.
The women’s high 500 game went to Charlene Lafever, bowling a 397. The 200 game belonged to Ginny May with a 142. Lafever and May both came in second behind the other with May bowling a 338 500 game and Lafever bowling a 135 200 game.
