OXFORD – Dr. Marie-Florence Shadlen has joined the health care team at UHS Primary Care in Oxford to provide services in the specialties of primary care and geriatric medicine. Chris Kisacky, VP Operations, stated, “We are excited to welcome Dr. Shadlen to the staff in Oxford. Her specialties increase the broad scope of services we provide to our patients in Oxford and surrounding areas.”

Dr. Shadlen completed her Internal Medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Oakland, CA. Most recently Dr. Shadlen was providing medical services in the Charleston, SC area.

Dr. Shadlen said ”I am excited about this new opportunity to work with the entire family and offer a more preventative type of care. I am looking forward to keeping people healthier by getting to know them and their habits while helping to promote their health from the very beginning stages.”

Dr. Shadlen has joined the UHS Primary Care Team in Oxford at 21 North Canal Street. She will be working with other primary care providers Dr. Harper and Carrie Anne Pisani, RPA-C.
